Corporate card design ideas that work
A corporate card has one job before anyone reads a word. It should look like it came from a brand worth hearing from. Good design does that in a second. Below are the looks that work again and again for business senders, and what makes each one land.

1. Clean branded minimalism
The safest professional look, and often the strongest. One brand colour, plenty of white space, and your logo doing the work. It reads as confident rather than busy, which makes it ideal for client-facing firms in finance, law and consulting, where understatement signals quality.
Best for client thank yous, professional services, and anything where tasteful beats festive.

2. Bold colour blocking
Full-bleed brand colour with the type reversed out of it. High impact, instantly recognisable, and it keeps your brand front and centre. The trick is restraint, so use one strong colour rather than five.
Best for modern brands, DTC, and teams that want the card to feel like the rest of their identity.

3. Illustrated and seasonal
A custom illustration gives a card personality without losing the brand. It works especially well at Christmas, where a distinctive illustrated card is the one people keep on the desk rather than recycle. (See the Christmas collection for seasonal looks.)
Best for Christmas and occasion cards, and brands with a warmer, more human voice.

4. Typographic and message-led
Let the words be the design. A short, well-set message, a genuine thank you or a milestone line, carried by good typography. It feels personal and modern, and it suits the cards whose whole point is the sentiment.
Best for thank you cards and appreciation sends with no pitch.

5. Photographic and product-led
A strong photograph of your team, your premises or your product turns the card into a small piece of brand storytelling. Use it when the image genuinely adds something, not as decoration.
Best for anniversaries, brand moments and product-led businesses.

A few principles behind all of them
Brand first:
The recipient should know who it is from before they read a word.
One idea per card:
A single strong look beats three competing ones.
Leave room to breathe:
White space reads as quality, while clutter reads as a flyer.
Print quality shows:
Good paper and finish are half the impression, which is exactly why a holding a sample beats viewing a screenshot.
Every design here is printed on 100% recyclable, sustainably sourced paper, with a Woodland Trust donation on every card.
